AOL will discontinue offering ID Vault on October 31, 2019. An email was sent out on October 1, 2019 giving advance notice of this change.
Why is this product going away?
We appreciate your business and thank you for being a valued AOL Member. AOL has reviewed its product offerings and industry trends and decided a new subscription direction was needed.
How can I retrieve my ID Vault data?
You will need to print or write down your passwords and usernames before October 31, 2019. Once ID Vault is discontinued, your info will be deleted and can't be recovered. To print, follow the instructions below:
1. Open ID Vault.
2. Click Options.
3. Click Print.
4. Enter your primary PIN.
5. Follow your device’s prompts to print.
6. An ID Vault Backup Report dialog box will appear. Click OK.

How do these changes affect my AOL account?
Beginning October 31, 2019, you will no longer have access to ID Vault for securely managing your passwords, usernames and credit card information. You will still retain your AOL account and other subscriptions you may have. Visit myaccount.aol.com to manage your AOL subscriptions.
Will ID Vault be uninstalled from my computer?
