Before you begin, you’ll need to know the version of the web browser and operating system you’re using. Check out the help articles How do I find the version of my web browser? and Determining your version of Microsoft Windows.
Uninstalling ID Vault from Windows 7
1. Click on the Windows flag (Windows Vista/7) in the lower left corner of your computer screen.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Click Programs and Features (Vista/Windows 7).
4. In the Programs list, find ID Protection Suite, highlight it, and click to Uninstall.
5. Click No.
6. Restart your computer. Shutting down and restarting the computer finishes the removal process.
Uninstalling ID Vault through the Cleaner Tool
1. Open ID Vault Support Center on your browser.
2. Click Download our Cleaner Tool at the top right of the page.
3. When you are prompted for a file download, Save the file on to your system. Note: You need to close all your open browsers to complete the uninstallation process. It is suggested that you complete your work on the open browsers and close them.
4. Open the file from the location you have it saved.
5. Click Run.
6. When you are prompted for a confirmation to remove all aspects of ID Vault, click Yes. The tool will uninstall ID Vault and display a message on the screen once it is done.
